Biltmore Estate Wedding Planner | Julie & Darren

Being Julie and Darren’s Biltmore Estate Wedding Planner for their wedding on the Biltmore Estate was a dream. They were married last spring at Deer Park.  They are middle school sweethearts have been together since childhood, they were the sweetest couple and just radiated with love.   Mingle enjoys working with destination brides and helping them source and put together their dream wedding.  It was especially fun to work together with Enchanted Florist and Bobby Marks Design to incorporate a vintage inspired wedding with touches of a robin’s egg blue, greens and white with cream.  They created a breathtaking display that was enjoyed by all.

The happy couple made their grand exit through sparklers and in a Model A that was restored by the groom, Darren and his father.

“My wedding could not have been more spectacular and I owe it all to Candace! I can’t thank her enough for all she did to make our day so special. Leading up to the day, Candace dedicated hours of her time talking through every detail of our wedding plans with me. Down to the colors of vintage books that accented the tables, she had such great attention to detail, which I appreciated tremendously since I am very type-A. I had a blast designing and planning the décor, which she graciously and calmly kept my ideas organized despite being all over the map. At one point, we even thought we’d be making furniture which she kindly talked us (my husband) out of. This is just one example of how valuable her expertise and kind honesty was throughout this process. Leading up to the big day, Candace was the calm, cool and collected planner to bounce ideas off of and make sure we were on the right path. The week of our wedding (when every bride’s head is spinning), she took the reins and managed every detail/vendor better than I could have ever asked for. I truly enjoyed my wedding because she handled all of the craziness behind the scenes. All of the speeches, dances, music ques were on point – even if we were behind schedule, I never wouldn’t have noticed any rush or worry. If I have not raved enough about before and during our wedding, on top of all that – Candace remembered exactly what décor I brought along with our flowers (which would’ve been thrown away) and loaded & transported our car to our hotel so we didn’t have to worry about any clean up after the celebrations. She thinks one step ahead of every moment to ensure your experience is the best it could possibly be. There is not one thing I would have changed to make our day better and truly, this is a result of Candace’s work. She went above and beyond to make our dream wedding come to true.
