Up Up and Away Baby Shower | Asheville Event Planner

As an Asheville event planner, this summer baby shower was a great way to take advantage of a poolside location for this adorable event. The theme was hot air balloons with the invitations stating “Up Up and Away Baby is on the Way”; this sweet shower was hosted by Ashley for her dear friend Janci. Fun fact baby girl Camryn was born this week. Welcome to the world sweet girl. 🙂

Pink “hot air balloons” that were ready to take flight not only surrounded the pool, but were floating in the pool with a basket decorated with pink and white bunting. The hot air balloon theme ran throughout… There was a guest book that was a canvas with a hot air balloon sketched on it and the guests thumbprints became the balloon, such an adorable way to not only document who was there but this can be used to decorate baby Cameryn’s room! Beside the vintage table holding the guest book was a beautiful chalkboard sign created by Bethany of Joy Unscripted that welcomed the guests.

The tables were decorated in pink table clothes and a few of the tables had gold sequin tablecloths, cause you know a true southern party has to have a little glam. Pink flowers in glass and vases and gold candle holders tied it all together.

Now you know any true party has to have cake and what an amazing job Dogwood Designs Bakery with the cake it’s topper was a hot air balloon. What about the cloud cupcakes with chocolate hot air pops decorating them!
